“Counselor” refers to Anna Mahaffey, LPC, MAMFT, a Licensed Professional Counselor regulated by the Mississippi State Board of Examiners for Licensed Professional Counselors.
“Device” means any device that can access the Service such as a computer, mobile phone, or tablet.
“Service” refers to the Website and any related online materials.
“Terms and Conditions” (also referred to as “Terms”) mean this agreement that forms the entire understanding between You and the Company regarding use of the Service.
“You” means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.
Acknowledgment
These Terms govern the use of this Website and form a binding agreement between You and the Company. Your access to and use of the Website are conditioned on Your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms and with Our Privacy Policy. Purpose of Service

Accessing or using the Website, including contacting the Counselor through it, does not create a counselor-client relationship. Such a relationship is only established after intake and consent forms are completed and agreed upon in writing. Termination

To the fullest extent permitted under Mississippi law, the Company and Counselor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from or connected with Your use of the Website or reliance on its information, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Your exclusive remedy for any claim shall be limited to the amount actually paid by You to the Company, or $100 USD, whichever is less.

Compliance with Mississippi Counseling Regulations
The Counselor practices under the authority of the Mississippi State Board of Examiners for Licensed Professional Counselors, following all applicable laws and ethical standards. If You are receiving tele-mental health services, Mississippi regulations (30 Miss. Code R. § 2202-H) require that the Counselor be licensed in the state where You are physically located at the time of service.
Severability and Waiver
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable or invalid under Mississippi law, such provision will be modified to achieve the intent of the original provision to the fullest extent possible, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Failure by either party to enforce any provision shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update or replace these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective when posted on the Website. Continued use of the Website after such changes constitutes Your agreement to the revised Terms.
